Privacy policy
This page explains what information Merchant Collective collects, why we collect it and how we look after it. It is maintained by Merchant Collective and updated as our practices change.
What we collect
When you request a payment comparison we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, your current provider (if you tell us) and your preferred method of contact. If you choose to upload a merchant statement, we store that document securely so we can prepare an accurate comparison.
Why we collect it
We use your details solely to prepare and discuss your payment comparison and to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
How it is stored
Enquiries and uploaded statements are held in access-controlled systems. Uploaded statements are stored privately and are only accessible to Merchant Collective.
Analytics
We record anonymous usage events (for example, how often the savings calculator is used) and use Google Analytics to understand how the site performs. These records do not identify you personally.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Email hello@merchantcollective.co.uk and we will action your request.
