Worldpay · Provider partner

One payment partner for in-person and online sales.

Worldpay offers standalone card terminals, online payment processing, payment links and virtual-terminal functionality, with separate products for different ways of accepting payments. Choosing the right option means understanding whether you need a physical terminal, online checkout, remote payments or a combination.

Overview

What Worldpay offers UK businesses

Worldpay runs distinct products for distinct channels: card machines for face-to-face payments, Worldpay eCommerce for websites, Payment Links+ and Virtual Terminal for remote payments, and Worldpay 360 for an integrated POS.

That separation matters. A terminal agreement doesn't automatically include online checkout, and an e-commerce account doesn't give you a card machine. You pick the pieces your business needs.

Among our partners, Worldpay has the deepest online toolkit — hosted checkout, platform integrations, recurring payments and fraud tools — alongside its in-person range.

The full cost

What affects what you'll pay

With Worldpay, in-person and online products have their own terms. Terminal rental, contract duration, card types and the full transaction schedule should all be checked in a tailored quote — and online services priced separately where you need them.

  • Your card mix: debit, credit, commercial and international cards are often priced differently.
  • Monthly turnover, number of transactions and your average transaction value.
  • Whether payments are taken in person, online, by payment link or over the phone.
  • Hardware needs: how many devices, which model, and whether you rent or buy.
  • Any POS software, apps or gateway services you add on top of card acceptance.
  • Contract length, notice periods and any cancellation or exit conditions.
  • Gateway, integration, payment-link and virtual-terminal charges where applicable.

Preferential pricing

Access preferential payment rates through Merchant Collective.

We work with established payment providers to help businesses explore competitive, partner-negotiated rates that may not be available through standard public offers. We compare suitable options against your business needs, helping you understand the available terms before you decide whether to switch.

Eligibility depends on your business and the provider's terms. We can't guarantee a specific rate or that every quote will beat a direct offer.
